Because I know what it’s like to stand in this place of desperation… to feel as if the entire world is crumbling down around me… and I know what it’s like to feel alone.
I believe that you can experience both brokenness and joy… that in fact, you cannot experience one without the other… you’ll never truly experience deep rooted joy unless you first have experienced deep rooted pain…. and there is beauty in both.
The idea for breaking joy was sparked by this belief that we can be both broken and joyful. We don’t have to choose one or the other and we can experience difficult and heavy things while also standing in a place of deep rooted joy.
